Green Rose River North is 5,000-square feet of building from the 1950’s and was the former downtown Chicago location of Carson’s Ribs. Green Rose has one of the largest outdoor murals in Illinois at more than 2,000-square feet with overall size 110-feet wide by 21-feet tall. Green Rose commissioned two world-renown mural artists, Asend and Norman Chuck, to create the Green Rose Mural. Inside the dispensary, the Green Rose motif has specially designed wallpaper created by Toronto-based artist Candace Kaye, who was commissioned to create a print that “depicts a mythical transformation of a rose into a cannabis plant and includes thorns which are native to roses but also symbolize the edgy side of cannabis and the history of prohibition.”

Green Rose River North mission statement is “to elevate cannabis and offer our customers the most high-end cannabis experience in the Chicagoland area. We have created a beautiful setting with some of the industry’s most experienced and friendly budtenders who can introduce customers to our curated supply of Illinois’ most popular cannabis brands and products. We’ve used the symbolism of the rose to soften the stigma around cannabis and to create an environment at Green Rose that embodies the beauty of the cannabis plant and where everyone feels comfortable and welcome.”

Green Rose offers online ordering and in-store kiosk ordering, as well as the RoseBud Reward’s progressive loyalty programs. Green Rose has a large parking lot, and as an independent dispensary, Green Rose has the ability to offer one of the widest selections of cannabis brands and regular deals. Green Rose’s community service includes Green Rose Gives, which last year coordinated a Winter Gear Drive to gather winter clothes to help Cradles to Crayons, which provides winter clothes for kids in need, and a Thanksgiving Food Drive to help families in need.
