May cannabis sales reach third most since legalization
The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation finally announced today recreational cannabis sales totals for May 2024. May total items sold, in-state sales, and overall sales totals reached the third-most monthly totals since legalization in Illinois. May total sales reached $146,229,576.98. In May, dispensaries sold 4,112,540 cannabis items, and in-state resident sales reached $113,119,777.82. Each category trails monthly totals from April 2024 and December 2023 totals. Out-of-state resident sales totals reached $33,109,799.17.
