Review: Glazed Clementine Orange Gummies by Mindy’s

1

Even after a couple years of sampling products and writing reviews, there are a few brands I’ve only tried a handful of times. Mindy’s Edibles is near the top of that list. I recently spotted the brands Glazed Clementine Orange gummies on the menu at Sunnyside Champaign, so I picked up a tin to review.

Mindy’s Glazed Clementine Orange Gummies came as a 20-pack of gummies with 5mg of THC per gummy. The ingredients were sugar, tapioca syrup, pectin, fruit and vegetable juice, potassium citrate, natural flavor, citric acid, malic acid, and cannabis oil.

Each candy was shaped like a tiny classic gumdrop. Translucent orange, they carried a glittering sugar finish that helped to create a rough exterior shell. This exterior shell held in a slightly gooey center that created a moist and fresh mouthfeel.

A combination of orange peel and sweet heavy cream created a dreamsicle tone that leaned further into the orange than the cream. The experience on the palate was the same, a natural orange flavor at the top followed by a sweet cream note that cut through the acidic citrus to create a clean finish. The flavor was very natural throughout.

After about 45 minutes, waves of pressure started to move throughout my body, relaxing my muscles as the peak approached. A calm and peaceful mindset set in, relieving me of the days worries but still leaving me able to focus on the task at hand.

Overall, these gummies had a great flavor and an easy going effect profile that I could use anytime. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
