Cannabis Equity Illinois Coalition celebrates fifth year
The Cannabis Equity Illinois Coalition is scheduled to host its fifth anniversary party and fundraiser. Smoke Out, the 5-Year Celebration, is set for 2-6 p.m. Saturday, July 27. Tickets can be found here.
The event will be hosted at a secret location in West Town Chicago (exact Location to be emailed to guests 48 hours before event). According to the event coordinators, the Smoke Out celebration includes “good food, great company, and meaningful conversations. Our anniversary celebration will take the form of a lively barbecue, where we’ll gather both indoors and outdoors to soak in the summer vibes of the city—an old-fashioned Chicago style BBQ smokeout in a session-friendly environment.”
In addition to marking this milestone, the anniversary party will also serve as a fundraiser to support the ongoing work of the coalition. The Cannabis Equity Illinois Coalition has been at the forefront of championing equity and social justice within the cannabis industry. Attendees and contributions will directly contribute to Coalitions’ mission of fostering equity and justice in the cannabis industry and beyond.
The Smoke Out also is set to host a vape bar sponsored by 93Boyz, vendors, games, and four DJ, including:
Peter Cottontale from 2-3 p.m.
Hillery Banks (Ivory) from 3-4 p.m.
Icey Bby from 4-5 p.m.
Vicki Street from 5-6 p.m.
