How To Make Cannabis-Infused Apple Cider
Making cannabis-infused recipes is fairly simple as well as fun. Just follow these steps:
- Pour your apple cider into your slow cooker or your pot on the stove.
- Slice your fresh apple, if using.
- Add your cinnamon sticks and fresh apple into the apple cider.
- If using a cheesecloth and elastic, place the star anise pods and cloves, along with any other spices that you are using, inside and secure with the elastic. Otherwise, put them directly into the apple cider.
- Turn your stove or slow cooker to medium heat.
- In a separate bowl, mix your cannabis tincture and brown sugar.
- Once the apple cider begins to boil, add the cannabis tincture/sugar mixture to the cider.
- Turn the heat to low.
- Stir your cider to dissolve the tincture.
- If heating on the stove, let it cook on low for 5-10 minutes to infuse. If using a slow cooker, allow it to cook on low for about an hour.
- Turn off the heat.
- If you used the cheesecloth bundle, remove it from the cider. If not, strain the cider to remove the spice pods. You may add the cinnamon sticks and apple slices back in, if desired.
- Serve!
