Review: Grape Sugar Cookies Vape Cart by Dabstract
One of the freshest labels on the Illinois market is multi-state concentrate-centric producer Dabstract. Through a partnership with Bedford Grow, Dabstract’s first release focuses on high-terpene extracts utilizing Bedord Grow’s deep library of genetics. I recently picked up a couple carts from the new vape line, starting with Grape Sugar Cookies.
The Dabstract Grape Sugar Cookies HTE Live Resin cart is distillate infused with live high-terpene oil. Grape Sugar Cookies is a hybrid cross of Purple Lindica and Girl Scout Cookies. This batch of oil tested at 0.25% CBD, 0.27% CBDa, 15.51% THCa, 56.41% THC, and 76.42% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 11.95% of the total weight with caryophyllene, humulene, and limonene being the heaviest.
A standard glass tank, metal coil cartridge with a white ceramic mouthpiece, the Dabstract cartridge should fit any standard 510-threaded battery. The oil inside the tank was thick and viscous at room temperature with a light straw yellow color and a glasslike clarity.
Notes of lavender, wildflowers, and a hint of cream provided a floral sweetness before giving way to an herbal blend of parsley, rosemary, and oregano, creating the rich-center tone of the flavor profile. Brightness returned on the finish as notes of raspberry and lemon cut through the herbs on the finish. While there was substantial depth, the flavor profile had no staying power with the palate clearing completely upon exhale.
Grape Sugar Cookies was a fast-acting high that relieved my anxiety while maintaining a functional headspace. An overall lightness set into my body. My energy level stayed consistent, but the clear mindscape was the real star of the show. The mental clarity lasted for the duration of the high, truly making this a good fit for any time of day.
