Review: Infused Honey by Culinary Cannabis Co.
While most edible companies focus on final products, Culinary Cannabis Co. is taking a different approach, offering consumers infused ingredients to cook with at home. I recently picked up the new label’s Infused Honey to review.
Culinary Cannabis Co. Infused Honey comes as a 4-pack of 0.5-fluid-ounce packets with 12.5mg of THC per packet, for a total of 50mg of THC per box. The ingredients are honey and THC emulsion.

The four clear-plastic pouches came filled with a classic, free flowing, transparent-amber honey. The 0.5-fluid ounce or single tablespoon was just enough for a single serving and slightly larger than a honey packet expected with a fast-food biscuit. Each packet was individually labeled with the dosage. The clear plastic made it as easy as possible to ensure the entire package was used.
The honey tasted like honey, sweet at the front with a floral wildflower body, but followed by a noticeable bitterness that stuck to the tongue. I tried the honey straight and as a mixer. Hot beverages masked the bitter finish almost completely while it was still present on foods and strongest in the plain honey. The “ingredient” nature of the honey made for an extremely flexible edible, and I ran out of honey before I ran out of ideas on how to utilize it.
Even for an emulsion-based edible, the honey hit faster and stronger than expected, inducing a rush of core-focused euphoria with tingles moving outward from my chest to fingertips. As the physical sensations reached their peak, a wave of calm wiped away my anxiety and left a clearheaded, open state behind. This relaxing peace remained in place for an hour, and an muscle relaxation lasted even longer. Overall, the flexible dosing options and lasting effects left me impressed with Culinary Cannabis Co’s first offering.
