Review: Punch Disposable Vape by Rove
Convenience is the name of the game when running a vape brand. Rove knows this, and besides the brand’s pod and battery system, it also produces a line of disposable all-in-one vapes. I recently picked up the Rove Punch disposable to review.
Rove Punch Disposable is a 0.35g all-in-one disposable vape with distillate-based oil infused with botanically derived terpenes. This vape tested at 0.2% CBD, 91.3% THC, and 94.6% total cannabinoids. The listed terpenes were limonene, linalool, and trans-nerolidol.
A straightforward stick design, the black Rove branded battery had a USB port and small red indicator light at the bottom, a glass tank, and a black plastic mouthpiece. There were no settings or buttons and a hit to activate mechanism. The “hit window” was longer on the disposable than many others on the market, allowing for a longer pull and deeper hit.
Even with the heavier hits, the vape delivered no throat harshness, a feat for a distillate vape. The flavor was a vaguely fruity, slightly sweet blend that opened with a hint of punchy tropical tones before being overtaken by a bubblegum-like note that dominated the finish. The flavor held zero staying power on the palate or in the air for the vapor, making the Rove disposable a good choice for the discrete consumer.
The Rove Punch Disposable delivered an almost instantaneous headchange that knocked down some of my anxiety and brought me more into the moment. Enough back-to-back hits could induce a headband effect and heaviness in the brow, but this and the mental shift were both short lived. The peak came and went by the fifteen minute mark, and I had completely come back down by 30 minutes, making for a “lunch break” high.
