Review: Twilight Berry and Sunrise Mango Disposable Vapes by Wake N Vape
One intriguing aspect of the new craft licenses in Illinois has been the ability of small businesspeople to spin up cannabis brands. I recently spoke in person to Victoria Williams, founder and CEO of Wake N Vape, at the Illinois Craft Showcase, where I picked up a Twilight Berry and Sunrise Mango disposable vape to review.
Wake N Vape Twilight Berry and Sunrise Mango Disposable Vapes are half-gram vapes filled with distillate-based oil infused with botanically derived terpenes. The Twilight Berry tested at 1.984% CBD, 88.643% THC, and 90.627% total cannabinoids. The Sunrise Mango tested at 1.979% CBD, 87.738% THC, and 89.716% total cannabinoids.

The body of each vape was just off from square, an inch-and-three-quarters tall and an inch-and-a-half wide. A small visibility window tracked the amber oil just below the rubberized mouthpiece that stuck out from the top of the body. Both vapes were vibrantly colored with a yellow-to-purple gradient adorning the Twilight Berry and a pink-to-yellow gradient on the Sunrise Mango. There was a USB-C charging port and a simple hit to activate mechanism in each vape.
Both vapes provided strong clouds with smaller hits working to produce the clearest flavors and longer pulls producing a real lung punch. The Sunrise Mango provided a hint of artificial mango candy at the top before transitioning to a blend of skunk, dried thyme, and roasted onion creating a savory finish. The Twilight Berry was sweet all the way through, with a sweet artificial strawberry-candy front end becoming a cotton-candy sugar on the exhale.
The effect profile from both vapes were similar. A spaced-outdaze took over my mental space almost immediately, locking me into a hazy quiet at higher doses. Pressure mounted on my brow, moving down into my chest and arms as the experience progressed. Both flavors brought my energy levels down to a collected calm and worked well for a quick anxiety relieving break.
