Illinois Cannabis Convention announces program schedule

NECANN has announced its program schedule for the 2024 Illinois Cannabis Convention. The 4th annual convention, set for 10 a.m-3 p.m. May 31-June 1, is scheduled to host presenters such as Jim Belushi, Illinois House of Representative La Shawn Ford, Deputy Director of Cannabis & Hemp David Lakeman, Alex Al-Sabah, Jaynee’ Dolly Benavidez, Ambrose Jackson, Shawnee Williams, Victoria Williams, and more. Stop by booth 221 and say hi to the Illinois News Joint team.

Belushi will be the keynote speaker from 1-2 p.m. Friday, and Jackson from The 1937 Group will be the keynote speaker from 1-2 p.m. Saturday. The 2024 Illinois Cannabis Convention programing contributors include The 1937 Group, Illinois Women in Cannabis, Smart Cannabis, and others. NECANN also has added to this year’s conference a cannabis job fair portion, sponsor by Smart Cannabis and Ascend’s Co-Lab for Social Equity.

For the second straight year, the Schaumburg Convention Center, located at 1551 N. Thoreau Dr. in Schaumburg, is set to host the convention. Tickets can be purchased here. In four years, the Illinois Cannabis Convention has grown into the largest cannabis industry B2B event in the state, with more than 150 exhibitors and an expected 3,000 total attendees over two days. The Illinois Cannabis Convention offers networking opportunities, educational panels, and showcases some of the best and brightest minds in the cannabis industry with inside insight into the latest industry trends.
